SWIFT IDOL 2019 Information

Fall River Propane Swift Idol is in its 4th year as a singing competition, produced by SVI Media through Swift 98.7 FM in Afton (Star Valley), Wyoming.  2019 will bring the biggest competition to date as the prize money has been DOUBLED from $3,000 to $6,000, paid in part by Sterling Urgent Care.  Additionally, Swift Idol has moved venues at the Lincoln County Fair to the Main Arena on the fair's opening night, August 2nd, 2019.

Open auditions were held online at swiftidol.com and were limited to those 12 years of age and older and closed June 15th.  The auditions must have been sung acapella, meaning no background music, and files submitted must be in audio-format only (.wav, .mp3).  Auditions will be sent to our 3 judges who will then select their top 7 picks for the competition.  One of the 8 contestants was selected previously at the Swift Idol Live concert that was held on April 5th.

The 8 selected contestants will be filmed for a pre-produced video introduction to their live performance at Swift Idol 2019 prior to the competition.  An impartial, non-biased performance coach will be provided for use by the contestants for a maximum of 2 hours per contestant.  The performance coach will not disclose any information regarding other contestants' song selection, ability, wardrobe, etc.

The competition will be held on August 2nd, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Lincoln County Fair in Afton, Wyoming.  All contestants will sing at minimum one song of their choice, with SVI Media providing any background music needed.  The show will be broadcast live with 5 cameras on SVI Media's Livestream Channel and archived at SVInews.com.  The audience will vote live for their Idol, with the top 3 overall being selected to advance to the next round.  The judges will choose the 4th candidate to advance to the next round.  Another live-voting tally will take place for audience members, which will then crown a Swift Idol 2019 for the contestant with the most total votes in that round.

Swift Idol 2019 will win:
